Wool

Wool is one of nature's most versatile and sustainable fibers, known for its unique properties: it is warm, breathable, durable and naturally renewable. We use wool in our garments that are designed to keep you warm in cold conditions, while allowing the material to regulate body temperature during physical activity.

Despite the amazing properties of wool, production presents certain challenges. Traditional wool production can put a strain on the environment through methane emissions from sheep, overgrazing that affects ecosystems, and the use of chemicals in processing and dyeing. Furthermore, it is important to ensure that the sheep are treated well and that the production is fair and ethical.

That's why we strive to use wool that comes from responsible sources, where production methods contribute to positive changes for animal welfare, the environment and local communities. Our goal is for all the wool we use to be recycled or certified to strict standards by 2030.

Preferred wool

Wool certified to the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) or similar certifications ensures that animals are treated well and that the land they graze on is protected from overgrazing and erosion.

Recycled wool reduces the need for new raw material production and saves resources such as water and energy. By reusing existing wool fibers, we also reduce waste and our climate footprint.

Wool from regenerative agriculture focuses on improving soil health and increasing biodiversity. By working with farmers who use these practices, we can reduce carbon emissions, improve ecosystems and ensure that production is sustainable in the long term.
